A one day workshop making your very own ‘Rounded by’ upholstered birchwood footstool - just select a date.
No experience required. All tuition, tools and materials included. Maximum 6 people per session. Fun, informal, friendly & you get to take home your very own footstool upholstered.
You choose from a colour from a selection of 22 beautiful 100% wool shades, and we work with natural, sustainable, revalued and recycled materials, using a mix of traditional and modern upholstery techniques.
Workshops start (promptly) at 10, we break for lunch 1-2 and finish around 4.30/5pm.
£250 per person.
All materials & tools provided for use on the day.
Tea, Coffee & biscuits are included - upholstery is simply far easier when powered by a gingernut.
Venue : Westgate Chapel, Lewes High St.
Everyone leaves with their own upholstered birchwood footstool which can be carried whole or taken ‘flat’ for home assembly.
Lewes is an hour from London, and 15 mins from Brighton by train - and the workshop is a short 8min walk from the station. On the weekends there is ample parking at County Hall, (£1.50 all day Saturday, free on Sunday) again, a short walk from our venue. There is a microwave & fridge on site if you would like to bring your own lunch, or a selection of cafes nearby.
Cancellation Policy : A full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts.
