Get ready to use your hands - Friday morning bring your own upholstery project workshop - booked as a run of consecutive 3 weekly sessions, with a max 4 students. Sessions run 10am-12.30pm (2.5hrs), each Friday, price below is for the 3 week run and equates to a total of 7.5 Hours tuition.
You can book to start on any Friday (assuming space is available), put your preferred start date in the notes when you place your order. The intention is that you will attend these sessions consecutively, but I understand that ‘life’ sometimes ‘lifes’ and things can come up, so wherever I can I will try to accommodate any reasonable requests for alternative dates.

Sessions take place in my upholstery workshop in Star Brewery, Central Lewes.
2.5 hrs of tutored upholstery per session, working on your own project. I provide a set of hand tools for each student to use on site & we share staple guns, sewing machines, overlockers. Sundries (tacks, staples etc) are inc, other materials are charged pro rata - each student is given a costings sheet at the start of each project.
I offer a space for learning, for using your hands, for leisure, for pleasure, for fun, for challenge, for repair and reuse, for revaluing and reimagining – I’m going to have gingernuts on site.
We can work on traditional or modern pieces, it is suitable for beginners and returners - this is a great opportunity to work on your own piece, whilst learning from the differing projects across the group, whilst still receiving significant personal tuition.
There is paid parking nearby, 5 minute walk from the station (1hr from London, 15 mins from Brighton) and a couple of minutes from the 28 & 29 bus route.
All activities are entered into at the participants own risk.
