Where? Taith Coffee Shop, 84 High Street, Lewes - we will be working in the mixed media studio in this beautiful High Street Coffee Shop. Easily reachable by public transport. (6 mins from Lewes Train Station - serviced regularly by trains from London and Brighton - and by the 28 & 29 Bus Route).

How long? 6.30-9.00 pm , 2.5 hrs, an evening of friendly fun filled making

How much? £65pp

What’s included? All tools and materials for use during the workshop, everyone takes home their own 'me made' sustainably made coffee sack pinboard - light enough to carry home on the bus/train/tube ... maybe even on a bicycle

I've never picked up a hammer before? Suitable for absolute novices and craft lovers alike - we will work with simple tools and techniques and everyone will leave with their own pinboard

What size is it? You choose between 60,50,40cm diameter

How do I fix it to the wall? Sawtooth hook will be fitted to the reverse, pinboard can then be hung on a standard picture hook

Other stuff : Choice of coffee sacks & bunjee cords, your design - made using upholstery techniques with a selection of wonderful original hessian coffee sacks, sustainable cork, quality trims - as you would expect

Can I just buy one instead? Yes, available in 3 sizes (60, 50 & 40cm diameter), off the shelf - see separate listings

Cancellation Policy: A full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. If you can't attend the workshop inside of the 4 weeks, whilst I can't refund you, I will make up a pinboard in your choice of colour ways and ship to you.

MAKE AN UPHOLSTERED CORK PINBOARD WORKSHOP

This fun 2.5hr workshop, is suitable for beginners, returners, serial crafters & have a-goers!

Working in a small group using traditional & modern upholstery tools everyone makes their own upholstered 50cm cork pinboard.

I provide all the tools & materials, including a huge selection of glorious Linwood upholstery velvets - of course there are tea/coffee and gingernuts! Everyone designs their own board, and we fabric back them, adding a hook so they are ready to hang (or gift) as soon as you get home!
